  Minutes DPOC Monthly Meeting, April 14, 2025  Welcome, Promise to America and Land Acknowledgement  Chair Emily Tseffos Chair Tseffos called the meeting to order at 7:03pm.  She led the Promise to America and read the Land Acknowledgement. Approval of February Minutes Secretary Mary Kohrell Mary Kohrell shared the March 10 meeting minutes and reminded attendees to use the online link.  Dottie LeClair/Liz Holdren motion to approve the minutes.  Motion carried. Review and Approve Treasurer’s Report Treasurer Alyssa Vandenberg Alyssa Vandenberg shared the treasurer’s report.  Cindy Carter/Penny Bernard Shaber motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report as presented. Motion carried. Budget Listening Session We The People Rally Liberty and Justice Dinner     The hopeful eyes of a nervous nation are on us "Where have you gone Joe Dimaggio?/A nation turns its lonely eyes on you."   If Simon and Garfunkel wrote that song about the upcoming election they might have written, " Oh Heaven please Wisconsin  Democrats /A nation turns its hopeful eyes on you."   And indeed our nation has. So, if not now,  when?   Five days to go. Sixteen shifts to elect Susan Crawford and preserve democracy in our state and begin to re-establish it in our country.
