You heard the woman: Do Something By Kelly Fenton DPOC vice chair The vision and light emanating from the Democratic National Convention that ended last night stood in stark contrast to the bleakness the Republicans foisted on us just a month earlier. Their themes were grievance, decline and the past. That is the default mode of a party devoid of ideas or a path forward … and in thrall to a cult. The Democratic themes that collided into and gave way to one another these past four days were all hopeful ones: Freedom, Decency, Democracy, Respect, Equality. All suffused with joy and laughter and grace and love. And all culminating with that absolute banger of a speech from Vice President Harris! What was the theme that most resonated with you?
