We're organizing for an America where every family has housing, healthcare, fair wages, union protection and safety -- regardless of race, zip code or immigration status -- and in direct opposition to Trump's anti-labor policies. Bring signs for the issues that matter most to you and let's keep the pressure on!   DOGE Hits Home panel: Learn about the real impact here Democrats and Republicans alike are feeling the effects of DOGE actions right here in the Fox Valley, whether it’s people with special needs, teachers, government employees, businesses or so much more. Few are escaping the damage being done. Come to the Doge Hits Home panel at the Cornerstone Conference Room at the new Appleton Public Library on Thursday, June 26 from 7 to 8 p.m.. You will hear real stories from real people in our area affected by Trump administration policy. Stay tuned for more details and a signup link! All is fair in love and ... Seymour: We need your help! Reaching rural voters starts with showing up in rural areas. We have no better opportunity to do that each year than at the Outagamie County Fair. The Republicans will have a booth bookended by cartoonish cardboard cutouts of Trump and we cannot cede all the limelight to them. It really matters that we are there.   We need you to sign up for a shift or two during the five-day event that runs from June 25 through June 29 in Seymour. It’s easy work. The shifts are approximately three-and-a-half hours and you’ll have a booth partner. We’ll hand out prizes to the kiddos and greet the Democrats who are so happy to see our democracy-loving faces! It’s about as simple as that.   Click on the signup genius link and select a shift (or two)! Thanks for all you do. Our Democracy Depends on You. Just a reminder: Our big dinner is next week! Sorry, there are no more tickets so hopefully you got yours already. Doors will not open until 5 at the 513 on College Ave. Cash and credit cards will be accepted for drinks and auction items. See you there! WisDems state convention right around the corner The Wisconsin State Democratic Convention is June 14-15 at Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells. We will be electing a new chair and vice-chair to replace the outgoing Ben Wikler. To become a delegate or just to make your accommodations and find out all the details click here! See you in June! Looking for a few Juneteenth volunteers We need a few volunteers to help with our tabling at Juneteenth on June 7 at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center. We will need someone to help haul tables and materials from the office to the exhibition center and help get set up for the 1-4 p.m. event. We will also need one person to volunteer to work the table with Aiko for those three hours. Finally, we’ll require someone willing to help tear down and haul everything back to the office around 4 p.m. We’ll provide more details at the next county party meeting on May 12 but if you’re interested please email Aiko at schatz.aiko@gmail.com Can you help us out with Fox Valley Pride on June 21? If you can’t help with Juneteenth, maybe you can two weeks later at Fox Valley Pride on June 21 at Jones Park. We will once again need someone to help haul and set up the tent and tables from the office to Jones Park as well as someone to help tear everything down. We will also need people to help Aiko at our table with one of three two-hour shifts: 11 to 1; 1 to 3; or 3 to 5.
